From Dancer to Director
Early
Growing up in Salina
Kelsey’s love for dance began right here in Salina. As a young dancer, she discovered not only the joy of movement, but also the confidence, discipline, and sense of belonging that dance can create. Those early experiences laid the foundation for the kind of studio she would one day build.
College
Learning from Jackie Creamer
As Kelsey continued her dance journey, she was mentored by Jackie Creamer, whose influence helped shape her understanding of strong teaching, leadership, and studio culture. That mentorship played an important role in inspiring Kelsey’s future in dance education.
Degree
Education with A Greater Purpose
Kelsey earned her degree in elementary education, bringing a valuable perspective into the world of dance instruction. Her background in education gave her a deeper understanding of how children learn, grow, and build confidence, something that continues to influence the Revolution experience today.
Return
Coming Back Home
Returning to Salina gave Kelsey the opportunity to pour what she had learned back into the community that helped shape her. With a passion for dance and a heart for students, she began building something that would become more than a studio, a place where families could feel connected, encouraged, and proud to belong.
Vision
Creating Revolution
Kelsey’s vision for Revolution School of Dance was never just about teaching steps. It was about creating a fun, positive environment where students could receive quality instruction, grow in confidence, and discover what they are capable of. Today, that vision continues to shape a studio known for excellence, encouragement, and community.
“Every dancer who walks through our doors deserves a place where they can grow, find their confidence, and discover what they’re capable of becoming.”
