What Families Ask Most
We’ve put together helpful answers to the questions parents and dancers ask most often, so you can get the information you need right away.
What ages do you teach?
We offer classes for dancers ages 2.5 through 18, with programs designed to match each student’s age and stage of development.
What class types do you offer?
Revolution offers a variety of classes, including ballet, tap, hip hop, tumbling, acro, and more. We have both recreational and competitive pathways.
How do I enroll?
Enroll in classes by creating an account on DanceStudio-Pro and choosing which classes are right for your dancer. After which, you may pay your membership fee to enroll your child in the class. Once your registration fee is paid, your spot is reserved in our Fall session.
What do we wear to class?
At Revolution School of Dance, our students are asked to follow the dress code below:
- Ballet: Leotards or sports bra and pink/nude ballet slippers for our girls, and a white t-shirt, black pants and black ballet slippers for our boys! Tutus are welcome and add to the fun!
- Tap: Girls should wear a leotard and shorts/leggings. White t-shirt, black pants and black tap shoes for our boys.
Prek-2nd grade will need tan tap shoes
3rd grade+ will need black lace up tap shoes - Jazz: Girls should wear a leotard/sports bra, shorts/leggings and tan jazz shoes.
- Hip Hop: Leotard or sports bra and shorts. Black and white high top sneakers.
Please have your dancer wear their hip hop sneakers only at the studio!
* A link to purchase hip hop shoes will be sent out via email at the beginning of the season - Tumbling: Leotard, dance shorts, no shoes.
- Lyrical: We recommend tan jazz shoes. Refer to our jazz dress
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes. Trial classes are a great way to experience Revolution and find the right fit before enrolling.
How are classes grouped?
Classes are grouped by age, level, and experience to make sure dancers learn in an environment that fits their stage and supports their growth.
What if my child is new to dance?
That is absolutely okay. We welcome beginners and are happy to help place your dancer in a class where they can feel confident, supported, and successful.
What about competition?
Our competitive program is for dancers looking for additional training, performance opportunities, and a higher level of commitment. It provides strong technical development in a supportive team environment.
How much does it cost?
Tuition varies based on class length and program type. For current rates and policies, please visit our tuition page or contact our team directly.
How does payment work?
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month and is due by the 10th of the month. A $10 late fee will be applied to any account with an outstanding balance after the 10th.
What is your attendance policy?
Consistent attendance helps dancers grow and stay confident in class. If your dancer will be absent, we encourage families to let us know as soon as possible.
Do you offer refunds?
Tuition is non-refundable. If you have questions about charges, billing, or studio policies, our team is happy to help clarify.
Will there be a recital or performance?
Yes! We offer multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. Our dancers participate in an in-house Winter Showcase for our Foundational and Tumbling programs, which is a fun and low-pressure way for families to see what their dancers have been working on. In addition, all dancers have the opportunity to perform in our Spring Recital, which is a larger, full-scale production held at the Historic Stiefel Theater.
How will I receive updates from the studio?
We share important information through studio communication channels such as email and other parent updates. Families will receive details about schedules, events, and important reminders throughout the season.
